Alexandria Bellani is an award-winning short fiction writer and aspiring novelist living on Ngunnawal land in Canberra, Australia, with her husband, three children, and fur babies. She enjoys food, puns, and making readers cry (perhaps more than she should), and loves chatting anything fiction and craft.

Though she still occasionally competes in the short fiction contest circuit, Alexandria’s focus since mid-2025 has been on working as an industry judge and coaching fellow writers by providing in-depth, actionable feedback. She has been providing developmental editing services for novel manuscripts since June 2023 and workshop coaching for short fiction writing since June 2026. She is currently the Lead Reviewer for Woodland Writers (formerly Forest & Fawn), and she also works as a judge and reviewer for the Odd Embers Writing Contest.

As someone who identifies as remarkably average but annoyingly persistent and passionate about the craft of writing, Alexandria believes everyone can build (or adapt their existing) skills to write captivating fiction at any length.

Alexandria has been published in NYC Midnight, the Not Quite Write Prize for Flash Fiction 2025, Elegant Literature, and Rat Bag Lit.
